Meditating, and Painting patterns and layers that I find in nature grounds me. I connect to layers beyond our material world. In painting, I build from the canvas up, covering the whole canvas with patterns, then revealing layers beneath with windows. The process is a communion with what lies beyond and a celebration of joy!
