Inspired by growth and flight, "Winged Rhythms" is made up of a watercolor-like background of patterns, and a colorful foreground breaking out of set patterns. I wanted the process to be important in this piece, so the artist's hand is evident in drips, flying brushstrokes and layered techniques.
